JewQ - The International Torah Championship

We are excited to announce that Aleph Hebrew Schoool at MSC is participating in  “JewQ” The International Torah Championship for Hebrew Schools.

JewQ is an incredible program where students in grades 3-8 will have the opportunity to master the fundamentals of Jewish knowledge and compete with students from Hebrew schools around the world.

Here is how it works:

1- Register- Register your child/ren here, and receive the JewQ “Living Jewish” Book, and the JewQ catalog explaining how the program works, learning schedule, and prizes

2- Study- The students will follow their study guides to learn the information for the week based on their grade level.

3- Review with Us- We will be offering a 20 minute Zoom session every week to review the material with the students.

4- Review Online- Master the JewQ material by playing the review games on this link: www.ckids.net/jewqgames.

5- Get Tested- There will be three tests that will be taken in Hebrew School and Online (see catalog for the dates).

6- School Championship- Every student that has an average of 70% or above on the three tests will participate in an on-stage championship, in front of their parents, followed by an exciting grand trip (Covid permitting) with their fellow champions.

7- International Championship- 3 finalists from Aleph Hebrew School will represent our Hebrew School at the Shabbaton that will take place in Brooklyn, and culminate in the International Championship. If the Shabbaton cannot take place due to Covid-19, the International Championship will take place online and the finalist will choose from the prizes in the catalog.
