About BMC
We are excited to introduce the Bar and Bat Mitzvah Club AKA BMC @ MSC!
Becoming a Bar or Bat Mitzvah is an exciting highlight of a Jewish teenager's life. Our mission is to convey the true meaning of reaching this important milestone in a hands on and exciting way. At BMC, we will focus on developing Jewish identity through the Jewish Discovery Program. We will delve into the meaning and responsibilities of becoming a Jewish adult alongside other Jewish peers and create everlasting friendships. Additionally, special time will be devoted to focusing on the traditions that pertain to boys and girls respectively.
The program will introduce the students to basic Hebrew language as well as strengthen Hebrew reading and fluency. We will bring Jewish values and customs to life through hands-on crafts and volunteer opportunities. Students will also have the opportunity to join exciting trips including the Jew Q international Torah Championship. All this will be achieved with the goal of enabling the next generation to continue the Jewish traditions.

The program is geared to boys and girls ages 11-13, and will meet on Sunday mornings from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm. Click here for this year's calendar.
The program will cost $500 per student for the year.
